Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026. This is a translation: the French version prevails.
In short
- We only collect the information needed to value your licence and get back to you.
- Your data is never sold or passed on for marketing purposes.
- Audience measurement (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google Ads) cookies are only set with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- You can access your data, have it corrected or deleted at any time by writing to contact@vendre-ma-licence-4.fr.
Data controller
The controller of the data collected on www.vendre-ma-licence-4.fr is CHR CONSULT (Cabinet Licence 4), an SAS with share capital of €7,500, registered with the Bordeaux Trade and Companies Register under number 844 985 689, whose registered office is at 88 cours Saint-Louis, 33300 Bordeaux, France, represented by Mr Rémi Dudreuil, Chairman.
For any question about your data: contact@vendre-ma-licence-4.fr, or by post to the registered office.
Data collected
When you request a valuation, we collect:
- information about your licence: its category, the town where it is located (with its postcode, Insee code, département and population), and what interests you (buyback, sale to a buyer or both);
- your contact details: first name and surname, phone number, email address;
- the page of the website from which you sent the request, its language and its date.
All the fields of the form are needed to handle your request. An email confirms that it has been received. During the exchanges that follow, your expert may collect further information about the licence (date it was last operated, holder, situation of the business).
Purposes and legal bases
| Why we use your data | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| To value your licence, confirm receipt of your request, call you back and make you a buyback offer | Pre-contractual measures taken at your request |
| To support you in the sale or buyback of your licence | Performance of the contract |
| To contact you again about your sale project | The firm's legitimate interest |
| To comply with our legal and accounting obligations | Legal obligation |
Recipients
Your data is intended for the staff of Cabinet Licence 4 responsible for handling your request. It is hosted in France by OVH SAS, which acts on our instructions. The emails relating to your request (acknowledgement of receipt, forwarding to the firm) are sent by Brevo, a French email provider, which also acts on our instructions.
In the context of a sale, strictly necessary information may be passed on to the buyer, as well as to the competent authorities (town hall, prefecture) for the transfer formalities. Your data is neither sold nor rented.
Third-party services
Town search
To suggest towns as you type, your browser queries the French State's administrative boundaries API (geo.api.gouv.fr). Only the letters or digits typed in the "Town" field are sent to it, along with your IP address, which any connection requires. No other data from the form is sent to it.
Booking a call
The "Book a call" and "Choose the time of my call" buttons open the firm's calendar on calendly.com (Calendly LLC, United States) in a new tab. Nothing from Calendly is loaded on this website. The information you enter in the calendar is processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy, available on calendly.com. Its transfer to the United States is covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
If you have just sent a valuation request, the "Choose the time of my call" button pre-fills the calendar with your name, email, phone number, licence and town: this information is only sent to Calendly if you click that button. You can change it before confirming the appointment.
Audience measurement and advertising
With your consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads measure visits to the website and the effectiveness of our ads (see "Cookies and trackers" below). The information entered in the form is never passed on to them: only the fact that a request was sent is measured, without your contact details.
External links
Links to Google (reviews), UMIH, AKTIVEO FORMATION or licence-4.fr open websites subject to their own privacy rules.
Retention periods
- Valuation requests not followed up: 3 years from the last exchange with you.
- Clients: for the whole relationship, then 5 years from its end.
- Accounting documents and supporting documents: 10 years.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You can also set instructions on what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@vendre-ma-licence-4.fr or by post to 88 cours Saint-Louis, 33300 Bordeaux, France. We reply within one month.
If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
